I'm currently in the process of redesigning my site...so please bear with me! Unfortunately my old one got inadvertently deleted (long story) along with most of my content, which I'm gradually rewriting!
Hello and welcome to my newly renovated digital home! I'm a Somerset-based writer and broadcaster specialising in the overlap between science and society, particularly language, with varied experience in radio, print and digital media.
I am the special publications editor for the Geological Society of London, where I also blog and produce educational content. This is great, because it means I stay completely up to date with the latest research happening in earth sciences.
I also freelance, producing multimedia content for a number of clients. This has included voiceover work for wildlife filmmaking company Evanescence Studios, whose own clients include the BBC and National Geographic, feature writing for the wonderful children's science magazine Whizz Pop Bang!, producing educational content for children with Twig World, and working as a self-employed science presenter at events including the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival and Brighton Science Festival.
I'm working on a number of exciting projects at the moment, including a new podcast launching in July 2018 (watch this space!), so keep an eye on what's going on and feel free to contact me! Enjoy your stay and thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet.
